High mountain coffee. Medium body coffee. From Columbia and Costa Rica. This is 100% Arabica. These coffees are roasted by the Diaz family in Spain. The Diaz family have been roasting for three generations. They offer this as their finest coffee. The roasters are so proud of this coffee blend that they have called it after themselves.

This is a blend from the more established South American coffee region of Columbia. 100% Arabica is a given. It is a dark strong coffee with a slightly bitter aftertaste. This a quite a popular seller and is the most popular of the Columbian coffee that we sell on coffeebeans.ie.

This is the most popular coffee. It is 80% Arabica high mountain bean. Strong taste and full bodied. A blend of beans from Brazil, Mexico and Peru. This coffee has two different coloured beans. This is because 20% of the beans are “torrefacto” roasted robusta bean. This is common in the espresso drinking regions of Europe. This is a technique of sweetening the bean before roasting. It helps add more crema to the coffee. You can see the two roasting types in the photograph.

Kenya AA is the finest grade of coffee from Kenya and has a full body, intense flavour with a delicate acidity and a smooth winey flavour. Considered by many to be near the top among a list of the world's finest Arabica coffees. This is roasted perfectly that will allow the drinker to discern the features that are typical to good Kenya AA coffee.

Panama is a well respected coffee growing area sometimes confused with the Hawaiian Kona coffee. This is a definite Panama coffee. This one is a medium coffee with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Imported through the Maher family in Cork. This family have been roasting and importing their own coffee for generations.

Full bodied and mellow, with a gentle acidity and slightly nutty flavour. A high quality, high altitude coffee.

Ethiopia produces some to the most unique and fascinating coffees in the world. The finest Yirgacheffe possesses an intense floral aroma which is also noticeable in the cup. The washed Yirgacheffe is one of the best highland grown coffees. It has a fine acidity and rich body.

An exquisite coffee that has strong earthy tones, with a hint of smokiness and a caramel finish, it is the most popular brand of coffee in Cuba. Cuban coffee drinkers don’t do mild coffee and all their coffee is dark roasted, however don’t let this scare you, this coffee is strong but not overdone.

The coffee is a strong like the cubita however it has a bitter after taste and in our book is a nicer coffee than the Cubita, however it depends on what your cup of tea is!

The coffee is a blend of Sumatran, Ethiopian and Brazilian beans. We think that brazilian are the majority shareholders in the beans. Definitely a quality coffee and will not disappoint.

This is coffee hails from the blue mountain region of Jamaica. It is a mild coffee with very little bitterness. Generallty regarded as one of the finest coffees produced, it is the “caviar” of the coffee world.
We have to say it is quite nice however it is not a coffee we would recommend for everyday use for two reasons. Firstly the price, you need to be sitting down when you look at the price below. Secondly the coffee is without any bitterness but also quite mild. Maybe we are just not used to the finer things in life here at coffee beans, but we felt we needed some more kick to our coffee. For this reason it wouldn’t be regarded as a morning coffee. However as an after dinner or mid day, it is a treat.

It’s worth purchasing just to expand your palette of coffee, which is the main reason we are featuring it. Also you can impress your friends, posh guests or clients with this.

The Blue Mountains are located between Kingston and Post Maria in Jamaica. They are the highest range in the region and the altitude and soil are acknowledged as providing exceptional growing conditions for coffee beans.

We are happy to sell this coffee as it is a decaffinated version of one of our regular coffees, the Inda Coffee. INDA is a blend of 100% Arabica beans from South America’s best plantations (Colombia, plus some Costa Rica and Brazil).It has a clean and excellent taste. This coffee is decaffinated using a wet process and does not involve chemical treatment.

North Italian style of roasting - that is, medium roasted so that the coffee beans retain some origin characteristics, but still long enough to caramelise and reduce acidity. This espresso has a hearty body, strong but balanced acidity and a healthy crema. A blend of 3 African beans. Like taking a breath of desert air in early spring after the first rains - full of a bouquet of fragrances and tastes, but still with a decent kick.Great in the morning, as either milk or a G.O.D shot espresso. (this is the Blend Ballymaloe are using).

Single Origin Coffee. This is a very rich bean. Unlike most beans which are wet processed, this is dry processed, leaving a much lower acidity level, lots of flavour and character, and a great crema. The resultant heavy body is all berries, in particular blueberry, and further spicy notes. Finishing off with a delicious, lingering & winey aftertaste. A true classic.
